Osatsu Tenno Kujira Matsuri Festival(Osatsu)/ July 14st.

This festival began in 1989. After people carry whale mikoshi (portable Shrine) around town on their shoulders, mikoshi is carried into the ocean by woman divers. At night, fireworks and performances take place.
